400 Series Stainless Steel Grade
With the widespread application of stainless steel in various industries, 400 series stainless steel has gradually become the first choice for many application scenarios due to its unique performance and cost-effectiveness. As ferritic stainless steel, the 400 series stainless steel performs well in terms of price, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical properties, and is particularly suitable for customers with limited budgets and special requirements for material properties.
Emphasize the Characteristics of 400 Series Stainless Steel
High-Cost Performance: Compared to 300 series stainless steel, 400 series costs less, especially 430, 409, etc., has relatively low cost and is suitable for projects with tight budgets.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Although the corrosion resistance is slightly lower than that of the 300 series stainless steel, the 400 series performs well in specific environments, such as dry rooms or food-grade equipment.
Good Heat Resistance: For example, the 410 and 420 series have good high-temperature resistance and are suitable for use under high-temperature conditions.
Magnetic Properties: 400 series stainless steel contains a ferrite structure and is magnetic, which is suitable for applications with special requirements for magnetism.
