- In the HS-CODE system, the strip HS-CODE is different from the coil, usually, the width point is 600mm.
- In China, as per China’s government policy, the width below 600mm is exported as a strip with a 9% tax refund, but the width 600mm or above the product is exported as a coil with a 13% tax refund. On the export factory site, there are 2 ways to get a 13% tax refund to export strip, the first way is to do the slitting of the coil to strip in the bonded area and then deliver to the customer, and the second way is to apply coil to the bonded goods that is mean a promise to government that the bonded coil will be export after further processing.
