In the first half of the year, stainless steel daily-use products increased year-on-year, and Guangdong’s production accounted for more than 75% of the country

From January to June 2016, the cumulative output of stainless steel daily-use products nationwide increased by 3.70% year-on-year, a slight increase of 1.25 percentage points over the same period last year.

In the first half of 2016, the national stainless steel daily-use product output showed an overall increasing trend, and the second quarter was generally better than the first quarter.

The monthly output growth rate generally increased, and the growth rate began to change from negative growth to positive growth in March and reached the highest value in the first half of the year in May. The year-on-year growth of output in June was slightly lower than that in May.

In June 2016, the cumulative output of stainless steel daily-use products nationwide was mainly concentrated in Guangdong Province, Zhejiang Province, Tianjin City, Chongqing City, Jiangsu Province, Fujian Province, Sichuan Province, Shanghai, Hubei Province, Shandong Province, and other regions.

Among them, Guangdong Province has completed nearly 75% of the country’s stainless steel daily-use products, which has obvious advantages. Zhejiang and Tianjin ranked second and third in output this month, but the absolute advantage is not large, accounting for less than 10%.

Sichuan and Shanghai completed the production of stainless steel daily-use products in June with a year-on-year growth rate of more than 30%, becoming the fastest-growing region among the top ten provinces in terms of production.

In addition, the growth rates of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Tianjin, and Hubei were also relatively high, all surpassing the national average growth rate; Chongqing and Shandong experienced different degrees of negative growth, which were -0.28% and -9.26% respectively.
