Nippon Steel’s latest decision applies to all 300-series, angle, channel, flat and rolled H-beam and C-beam hot-rolled bars produced at its East Japan plant in Niigata Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan side, from May effective.

The company has reportedly been raising prices for stainless steel profiles by 10% since January 2021, and shipments in April, June, and October of this year by 15%, 10%, and 15%, respectively, all to shift more. high input costs.

NSSC has reportedly raised its April list price for 300-series cold rolled coil (CRC) and plate by JPY 65,000/t ($514/t) and its 400-series CRC price by JPY 15,000 /Ton.
