[Kaiping too much reduction] quality objection handling
A customer purchased a batch of 4*1500*6000mm 304/NO.1 stainless steel plates, and after pulling them back, they found that the heads of this batch of goods were seriously upturned, which had seriously affected the use. The customer was very angry and raised a quality objection to the supplier.
The supplier attaches great importance to this customer. After receiving the quality objection complaint, the supplier immediately arranges for the company’s technicians to check the situation. After on-site inspection, the technician found that the flat panel did indeed have the phenomenon of upturning of the board head proposed by the customer, and there were also obvious edge waves, which did affect the subsequent use of the customer.
After the technician went back, he checked the processing records and found that the reason for the upturning of the board heads was caused by the excessive reduction of the leveling roller set during Kaiping. I asked the processing operator and learned that the plate itself had a large wave change. In order to improve this wave change phenomenon, the operator increased the amount of reduction a lot, which caused the plate head to warp.
In fact, the increase in the reduction did not bring much improvement to the edge waves. The flattening roller of this medium plate leveling machine has a relatively large diameter and no intermediate roller fine-tuning function, so it is basically powerless against steel coil waves, especially steel coils with a thickness of 3.0-4.0MM. The consequence of increasing the pressure is often only to make the steel plate head upturn, and it will also cause certain damage to the equipment itself.
After this incident, the company requires everyone in the processing plant to strictly implement the operating procedures. For these wavy steel coils, and if it is confirmed that they cannot be improved well, they should notify the customer before processing and ask for their opinions. Line processing.
