Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. announced on December 20 the adjustment of the price of stainless steel wire rods contracted from December 2021 to February 2022 (delivery from January to March 2022): nickel-based benchmark steel (SUS304) increased by 3.5 per ton 10,000 yen, the chrome-based benchmark steel (SUS430) will increase by 25,000 yen per ton, and the alloy surcharge and base price have been adjusted.
