How to deal with the waste residue of electrolytic manganese
Electrolytic manganese slag is an industrial waste with a high content of CaSO4·2H2O. If it is used, it will obtain better economic and social benefits.
The manganese slag was dried at 105℃ and high-temperature calcined at 300℃, and then replaced gypsum to prepare cement test and carried out related cement performance tests according to national standard testing methods. The results show that although the retarding effect of electrolytic manganese slag is worse than that of natural gypsum, it can completely replace natural gypsum to produce cement; and the retarding and strengthening effects of electrolytic manganese slag treated by high-temperature calcining are better than those of low-temperature drying materials.
