Surface Case Study 2
Case study-surface anomaly 2
1. Credit bank members purchased 304L/2B 0.79*1219*C rolls. This volume was processed in Wuxi Shixinku by the credit bank. It was found that the surface of the original roll was oxidized and peeled. The credit bank issued 15 bad copies after confirmation on site For the target board, the credit bank provided a one-time supplement to the customer within a week after communicating with the steel mill many times.
Analysis: In view of the peeling of the cold-rolled oxidation line, in most cases, the board cannot be used normally when used for surface purposes. These defects normally appear on the edges of the burrs, or the production process is a problem. This is very simple to determine. As long as the on-site photo is verified, the steel plant will promptly give treatment opinions.
2. A credit bank member purchased a 304/2B 2.0*1219*C roll, and the goods showed intermittent minor scratches and scratches on the surface. After the steel plant’s quality personnel verified and confirmed on site, the credit bank negotiated a one-time compensation with the three parties.
3. When members of the credit bank purchased 304L 6.12*1550*C and 430 4.08*1250*C goods, they found pitting and scaly on the surface of the board at Wuxi Shixinku Kaiping. After on-site verification, the credit bank made a one-off compensation.
Analysis: There are two types of credit banks’ normal judgments for scratches. A part of the original roll that is unpacked or unprocessed during the original roll is verified by the scratch to confirm that it is the original roll. The second is the finished or processed goods. If it is scratched, it needs to be verified on-site and then cooperate with the steel mill to investigate the original roll production records to determine whether there is a scratch. After determining the cause, the corresponding treatment will be given.
