1. Environmental impact. The harvesting operations are all in the hotter season, especially when the three wheat is harvested, the temperature is high and the humidity is high, dust and grass clippings tend to fill the gaps of the radiator during the operation, which is equivalent to covering the radiator with an insulation layer, so that The heat of the cooling water in the radiator cannot be dissipated, causing the water tank to “boiling”

2. The fan belt is slack, the fan speed is low, and the air intake is insufficient so that the heat of the radiator cannot be effectively dissipated and the water tank “boils”.

3. The thermostat is malfunctioning. The installation of the thermostat is skewed, the valve fails or the opening stroke is insufficient, and part of the cooling water cannot enter the radiator and cannot be effectively cooled, causing the temperature of the machine to rise and the water tank to “boil”.

4. Insufficient water in the ss water tank. In harvesting operations, the engine is basically at full load, and the cooling water consumption is large. If it is not added in time, it will cause less cooling water and a lack of circulating water, which will cause the water tank to “boil”. In addition to the above-mentioned reasons, the cooling system is There are common failure causes such as serious scale on the radiator, no water supply from the water pump, or low water supply, which will not be listed here.

1. The temperature in the cylinder is too high, and the inhaled working fluid is heated and expanded to reduce the amount of charge, the power of the engine drops, and the temperature of the engine continues to rise.

2. If the temperature is too high, the parts will expand greatly, and the expansion level of various parts will be different due to the difference in material, size and temperature rise, and the matching clearance between each other will be changed.

3. The viscosity of the engine oil is greatly reduced due to high temperature and may deteriorate, which will worsen the lubrication between the friction surfaces, increase the wear of the parts, and even seize, resulting in the occurrence of part fracture accidents.

4. Excessive temperature will also reduce the strength and rigidity of machine parts, causing deformation and early damage. The overheating of the engine will make it unable to work normally, and even accidents of damage to the machine will occur. It is necessary to prevent this kind of phenomenon from happening and to deal with it in a timely and correct manner when it occurs.

The method is:

1. Clean the radiator in due course. Clean the grass clippings and dust on the radiator before leaving the vehicle and during the working gap. Compressed air with a pressure of 588784 kPa can be used to blow the surface of the radiator in the direction opposite to the airflow of the fan; the scale of the radiator core can be washed with 5% 10% soda water (8090°C).

2. Check and adjust the fan belt tension after each shift. The method is to press down the belt with your fingers. For example, the 495 diesel engine can press down 1015 mm with a force of 29.439.4 N. It should not be too loose or too tight. If it is found to be too loose or too tight, the position of the generator can be moved to meet the requirements.

3. Check the thermostat regularly. When checking, first remove the thermostat and clean the dirt, then put it in the water to heat up, when the water temperature rises to 6870℃, the main valve should start to open, and the main valve should be fully opened at 8387℃, otherwise, it should be repaired or replaced.

4. Add cooling water correctly. Add plenty of water before leaving the car. If water shortage is found during the working process, the load must be removed and the operation must be stopped (but the engine should not be turned off immediately) to allow the engine to run slowly from medium speed to low speed. When the water temperature drops below 40℃, add cooling water slowly. Suddenly.

When opening the water tank cover, the operator should avoid the water tank opening to prevent boiling water and steam from rushing out and scalding the skin and eyes.

In addition to the poor work of the cooling system, which will cause the water tank to “boil”, the failure of other engine systems or the engine’s long-term overload work will cause the engine to overheat and cause the water tank to “boil”.
