What is A182 F51 duplex stainless steel?
A182 F51 is a grade of duplex stainless steel forgings, that is, duplex stainless steel S31803/2205/F51. my country’s grade is 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N, grade standard: GB1220-92.
A182 F51 duplex stainless steel is duplex stainless steel composed of 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy. It has high strength, good impact toughness, and good overall and local stress corrosion resistance. The yield strength of A182 F51 duplex stainless steel is twice that of austenitic stainless steel. This feature enables designers to reduce weight when designing products, giving this alloy a more price advantage than 316 and 317L.
Product advantages
High resistance to stress corrosion cracking in a halide-containing environment;
High resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion;
High resistance to general corrosion; high mechanical strength;
High corrosion resistance and corrosion fatigue;
