Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400 or MCu-28-1.5-1.8 or Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy material with good corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia-sulfur-chlorine, hydrogen chloride, various acidic media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, alkaline media, salts and molten salts.
Ni-201 is commercially pure nickel with very low carbon content and has been approved for service up to 1230°C in high-temperature environments. It is one of the most widely used materials in industry. Relative to Ni200, Ni201 contains less carbon and it is more suitable for working at 315C.

What Kind of Material Is Ni201? What Is the Difference Between N4 and N6?
- Ni201 nickel strip to the U.S. grade: N4, N6 corresponds to the ASME II in the Ni201 and Ni200. That is low carbon pure nickel and ordinary pure nickel (i.e. N4, Ni201, N6, Ni200).

Pure Nickel Strip
Containing more than 99.95% nickel, pure nickel has excellent mechanical properties. Pure nickel is particularly resistant to alkali corrosion, whether in high temperature or molten alkali, and is more stable, so it is mainly used in the alkali industry. At room temperature, nickel is extremely stable in seawater and salt solutions and organic media (such as fatty acids, phenols, alcohols, etc.). The C content of Ni 201 and Ni 200 are not the same, and NI201 has better deep stamping and molding performance.
