What Is SUS316 Grade?
SUS316 is 316 stainless steel, produced by the U.S. ASTM standard stainless steel grade, 316 is equivalent to China’s 0Cr17Ni12Mo2 stainless steel, Japan also cited the U.S. called and therefore called it SUS316.
SUS316 belongs to the Japanese standard austenitic stainless steel, the implementation of the standard “JIS G4303-2005”.
SUS316 stainless steel plasticity, toughness, cold transformability, welding process performance is good, 316 high-temperature strength is good, 316L high-temperature performance is slightly worse, but corrosion resistance is better than 316, due to the low carbon content and contains 2% -3% of the molybdenum, improves the corrosion resistance to reducing salts and a variety of inorganic and organic acids, alkalis, salts, and at the same time high temperature sexual strength.
Is SUS316 Food Grade Material?
SUS316 is stainless steel material and is food grade. Stainless steel material is a material with close to mirror brightness, hard and cold touch, belongs to the more avant-garde decorative materials, with excellent corrosion resistance, molding, compatibility, strong toughness, and other series of characteristics, used in heavy industry, light industry, household goods industry, and architectural decoration and other industries.
Stainless acid-resistant steel referred to as stainless steel, is composed of two major parts stainless steel and acid-resistant steel, in short, can resist atmospheric corrosion of steel called stainless steel, and can resist corrosion of chemical media called acid-resistant steel.
Generally speaking, steel containing chromium Cr more than 12% has the characteristics of stainless steel according to the miCrostructure after heat treatment can be divided into five categories: namely, ferrite stainless steel, martensitic stainless steel, austenitic stainless steel, austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel, and precipitation hardening stainless steel.
